Kids' Aqua Games

Kids have fun water time in pools, lakes and oceans, but their swimming experience remains limited in a given year, depending on their location, the current season and indoor pool availability. For the times away from actual water outlets, kids can play online aqua games that put them in the center of water adventures and challenges.
  1. Aqua Energizer

    • Kids help Nemo solve underwater puzzles in a demo version of "Aqua Energizer," accessible at sites like Miniclip. Using the directional arrow keys to move, players push flashing red bulbs into the blue energizer outlet to charge it. Once the energizer charges, kids use it as a teleporter to advance to the next level. To remove dirt without moving Nemo, kids hold down the spacebar and press an arrow key. When hurling rocks at enemies, explosions occur and help blast entrances into brick walls. If players run out of oxygen or collide with an enemy or exploding bulb, they lose a life. The game ends when players lose three lives.

    Aqua Hoops

    • Players engage in one-on-one underwater basketball in "Aqua Hoops," accessible at sites like Primary Games. Using the directional arrow keys to control their pink player, kids press the "Up" arrow key to jump and the "Left" and "Right" keys to move. Players score one point for each ball landing in their opponent's tube, and win the game if they score five points or have the most points after one minute and 30 seconds. The game goes into overtime in the event of a tie.

    Aquarotation

    • Harry Stomper embarks on a mission to plug underwater holes threatening to drain the Mediterranean Sea in "Aqua Rotation," accessible at sites like Armor Games. Using the mouse to guide the submarine, kids try to reach the hole without bumping into walls. If the submarine runs into a wall and breaks, players keep playing the game, with no limit on their number of lives. Kids advance to the next level once they click and plug the hole with a large plug.

    Aqua Slug

    • Kids help Polo retrieve his cherished football from the beach bully in "Aqua Slug," accessible at sites like Armor Games. Pressing the "Left" and "Right" arrow keys to move, players squirt kids with an assortment of squirt guns. Players press the "Up" arrow key to aim up, the "Down" arrow key to crouch down and aim, and the 'S" key to jump. To fire their squirt gun, kids press the "D" key; to throw a water balloon, kids press the spacebar.

    Aquacubes

    • Players race to keep their submarine running in "Aquacubes," accessible at sites like MoFunZone. Using their mouse, kids pull columns or rows into place to form groups of at least four cubes of the same color. Kids advance to the next level if they fill the fuel gauge before time runs out; the game ends if they fail to do so.

    AquaPigs

    • Guinea pigs need kids' help breaking out of bubbles in "AquaPigs," accessible at sites like Token Arcade. With two guinea pigs trapped in bubbles, players press the "Left" and "Right" arrow keys to move and the spacebar to pop the bubbles and release the pigs. Kids advance to the next level if they successfully pop the bubbles the required number of times. The game ends if seagull droppings directly hit players or if the water level runs out.
