Steal the Teddy
Gather the children into a sitting circle. Pick one student to sit in the middle, blindfolded. Place a teddy bear behind the player's back. Play some music as the players in the circle all take turns trying to snatch the teddy bear. The blindfolded player can attempt to tag the players as they creep by, but she has to stay seated. The first player she tags trades places and the game continues.
Caboose on the Loose
Select one player out of the group to play the Loose Caboose. Line the rest of the players up single-file to form a "train," instructing everyone to hold onto the shoulders of the person in front of them. When ready, have the Loose Caboose close his eyes and count to 30. The train, led by the "Conductor," or the first player in line, has to maneuver its way away from the Loose Caboose. The Loose Caboose, meanwhile, has to try and tag the last player in line. Once he does this, the Conductor becomes the new Loose Caboose and the old Loose Caboose joins the end of the line.
Mother Hen
Position one player, the Mother Hen, in the middle of a field. Line the rest of the players, her chicks, horizontally at one end of the field. When ready, the Mother Hen calls out for chicks to come help her. The chicks have to run past Mother Hen to the other side of the field. Mother Hen tries to tag as many chicks as possible. Those tagged stay in the middle and help Mother Hen tag the chicks through several rounds. The last chick standing wins the game.
Split the Pairs
Pick one player out of the group to become "It." Break the rest of the players off into pairs, instructing them to hold hands with their partners. Have It count to 20 while the pairs run away. Once finished, It has to try and tag as many partners as he can to eliminate the pairs. By tagging only one partner, he eliminates a pair. The game continues until only one pair remains and wins the game.
