Scooby-Doo Games for Kids

With their gift for sniffing out--and solving--mysteries, Scooby-Doo and "Mystery Inc." pals Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma have entertained fans for decades, via TV, film, and other media. Aside from engaging in pretend play with Scooby-Doo toys and accessories, fans can play various games to get into the Scooby spirit.
  1. Bobblehead Game

    • Players compete to collect Scooby snacks in Pressman Toy's "Bobblehead Game," recommended for ages 6 and up. With menu cards dictating the snacks players need to collect, players pass cards among themselves, only keeping cards they need. The first player collecting his "snacks" grabs the Scooby bobblehead from the board, spins and advances his play piece the indicated number of spaces. Remaining players try grabbing a Mystery Machine token, with players grabbing a token moving one space. Play continues in this manner for each round, until one player reaches the finish line.

    Castle Hassle

    • While trying to keep a ghost from climbing to the next floor, Scooby and Shaggy try helping Fred, Daphne and Velma make it to the top of the castle in this Kids WB game. Players press the "Left" and "Right" arrow keys to move, and the "1," "2" and "3" keys to to send eyeglasses to Velma, a purse to Daphne and a net to Fred, respectively. To drop anvils on the ghost, players press the spacebar. Players advance to the next level if they fend off the ghost before time runs out. The game ends if players drop anvils on Fred, Daphne or Velma, or if players have no ghost-repellent spray cans left when the ghost reaches Scooby and Shaggy.

    Hallway of Hijinks

    • Clicking doors to get inside rooms or to keep a ghost out, players evade a ghost in the Kids WB "Hallway Hijinks" game. Collecting hearts increases players' "good health" meter. Players lose energy from their health meter if a ghost enters a room, or if players crash into closed doors or slip on banana peels. Collecting Scooby snacks earns players extra points. The game ends when players lose all of their "good health."

    Haunted House 3D Board Game

    • In classic Scooby fashion, players compete to unmask a villain's ghost disguise in Pressman Toy's "Haunted House 3D Board Game," recommended for ages 5 and up. During their game board travels, players encounter ghost traps that send them to different parts of the house. The player reaching the space at the top of the house reveals the villain's identity and wins.

    Pirate Pie Toss

    • With pirates in pursuit of Scooby's hidden treasure, players engage in a pie-throwing battle in this Kids WB game. Moving the mouse over enemies, players click to toss a pie. Players lose points upon hitting a Scooby gang member, and lose one life for every 10 "Hits" received during a level. Upon hitting the required number of pirates, players advance to the next level. The game ends when players lose three lives.

    Pop 'N' Race

    • Players may get into "Trouble" in this Pressman Toy Scooby-Doo version of the pop-and-move game. Recommended for ages 5 and up, the game requires players to send all four of their play pieces around the board and into their own home space. Popping a "6" lets players move pieces out of their starting corner spaces, and also provides a bonus pop. Players may send opponents' pieces back to opponents' start spaces upon landing on them. To move into home spaces, players must pop exact numbers, with the first player getting her pieces home winning.
