Tinker Bell Games & Activities

Make your daughter's next Tinker Bell party or friend gathering a magical one with fun games and activities. From wand decorating to pixie fairy games, a few inexpensive supplies and ideas are all you need to get started. For added enjoyment, award favors and prizes, such as tiaras, fairy wings, Tinker Bell-themed stickers and temporary tattoos to all party guests. As guests arrive, sprinkle "fairy dust" (glitter) on their heads.
  1. Wand Decorating

    • Have all the guests sit around a table. Give each party guest a wood dowel to create her own fairy wand. Help the guests cut star shapes out of card stock or poster board. Paint glue on the stars and sprinkle with glitter. The guests can glue the glitter stars to the end of the wands. Place glitter glue, stickers, markers and paint on the table for the guests to decorate their wands. The guests can take their wands home as a favor and memento of the Tinker Bell gathering.

    Pixie Dust Toss

    • Place three or four green plastic pails on the floor. Mark a standing line 6 feet away from the pails. The players must line up at the standing line and try to toss "pixie dust" into the pails. Use glitter pompoms from your local craft store as "pixie dust." Give each girl 10 pompoms to try to toss in the buckets. Award a small prize to all the players who make pompoms in the pails.

    Flower Headbands

    • Put several different colors of headbands and silk flowers on a table. Tell each guest to select a headband and the colors of flowers she wants on her headband. Have an adult glue the silk flowers on the headband. Cover the entire headband with flowers. After the glue dries, the girls can spray glitter, add glitter paint, beads and ribbon to their headbands.

    Fairy Flyers

    • Create an obstacle course using cones and boards (2-by-4s). Tell the players they must run around the cones and jump over any boards. Divide the players into two teams and have them line up at a starting line. Give the first player in each team line a pair of fairy wings. When you say, "Go," the first player in each team line must put on the fairy wings and run the obstacle course. She will run back to the starting line and hand off the fairy wings to the next player in line. Each player must do the same thing. The first team to finish the relay race wins the game.
