Mall Scavenger Hunt
Take the girls to your local mall and send them on a scavenger hunt. Divide the girls into two or three teams and give each team a list of 20 freebie items, such as an employment application, a loose button, a merchandise bag with handles and a hanger. For safety reasons, send an adult with each team. The first team back with 15 of the 20 items on their scavenger list wins the game.
Spaghetti Noodle Drop
Cook two or three pounds of spaghetti noodles and place them in two bowls. Divide the girls into two teams and have them line up at a starting line. Place a bowl of noodles by each team at the starting line. Mark another line 15 feet away and place two empty soda bottles on the line. Give the first player in each team a pair of gloves. The first girl in each team has to grab 10 noodles, run to her team soda bottle and drop them in it. After she finishes, she gives the gloves to her teammate who has to do the same thing. The first team to complete the relay race wins the game.
Ring a Bell
Purchase a large bell and have the girls scatter around the party area. Ring the bell and say, "I am looking for the girl with the longest fingernails." Go around looking for the girl with the longest fingernails and award her a prize. Other examples include "I am looking for the girl with the tiniest purse," "I am looking for the girl who can bring me her fuzzy slippers first" and "I am looking for the girl who has been the furthest distance from home in the last year."
Makeover Contest
Tell the girls to select a partner and give each pair a makeup bag. Place lipstick, blush, powder, mascara and eye shadow in each bag. Have each pair go into different rooms and give them 20 minutes to give each other a makeover. Tell the girls they can do funny, serious or silly makeovers. After 20 minutes, they each have to come out and model their new looks to all the party guests. Award a prize to the funniest, silliest, scariest and best makeovers.
