Instructions
Orient the pegboard so that it is taller than it is wide.
Insert 10 dowel pins in a horizontal row at the top of the board skipping one hole in between each dowel pin. Make sure the row is centered on the board.
Skip a row of holes and insert 9 dowel pins in the horizontal row below the first row. This row should be offset from the first row. To do this, place the first dowel pin in row 2 one hole to the right of the first pin in row 1. Continue across the board, skipping a hole between each pin.
Continue steps 2 and 3 alternating between rows of 10 and 9 dowel pins for 13 rows. Rows 1,3,5,7,9,11 and 13 should have 10 pins. Rows 2,4,6,8,10 and 12 should have 9 pins.
Skip four rows of holes and insert a pin under each pin in the 13th row. Continue this for six rows. In the last row place a pin in each hole. This creates the slots that catch the chips at the end.
Loop a rubber band around the first pins in rows 1, 2, and 3. Do the same with the last pins in those rows. Continue this process down the board with rows (3,4,5), (5,6,7), (7,8,9), (9,10,11) and (11,12,13). The rubber bands create triangles that keep the poker chips from falling off of the board.
Label each end slot with the dollar amount in the following order: 100, 500, 1000, 0, 5000, 0, 1000, 500, 100. Finish decorating the board as you please.
