Pass the Bow
Create smaller groups of people, approximately 10 or 15 people per group. Each group will sit next to each other in a line, passing a bow from one end of the line to the other with their feet. At the end of each line have a wrapped present where the bow is to be placed. The first team to have their bow on the present wins. Variations of this game can include passing the bow with any body part aside from the hands. Have hands of each team member tied behind their back.
Holiday Song Tunes
Divide the party into small groups. The size of the groups can vary depending on the size of the party. Give each group a different holiday song. They must create new words for the song and sing it for the rest of the group. Everyone will have to try to guess the name of the original song. You can give certain words to be included in the new song. If it an office party consider using the company name, or names of people who work in the office. The name of the city you are located, or a street name are also good words to include.
The Alphabet Game
The alphabet game can be played with small groups, pairs or individually. Give each person or group a piece of paper with the alphabet printed along the left side. They must fill in a word that starts with each letter of the alphabet related to the particular holiday. After everyone has completed their page write the words on a board or piece of paper on the wall to see how many people got the same words. The person or group with the most original words wins the game. This is especially fun for a school-aged group of children.
