Children's Party Games
Most of the time, children's party games are inexpensive or easy to make. A few pieces of construction paper, thumb tacks and tape can easily lead to a fun game of pin the tail on the donkey for youngsters. Bean bag toss is a popular game among smaller children, while older kids may enjoy acting out their favorite cartoon or television characters in a game of charades.
Adult Party Games
Since you are never too old to have a good time, there are a number of fun games that adults may enjoying playing with friends at parties. Couples may enjoy a shaving game where one partner applies shaving cream to his face and the other is blindfolded to shave him with a spoon. The traditional game, Limbo, of dancing beneath a progressively lowered horizontal bar is also a popular adult party game.
Theme Party Games
If you have a specific theme of your party in mind, you may be interested in incorporating some corresponding party game themes to the activities. Bachelorette parties often take an adult theme with new variations of the classic "Hot Potato" game, where adult toys are passed in lieu of the potato, while games like "Guess how many M&Ms are in the baby bottle" are more appropriate for a baby shower.
