Blowing Smoke Rings
Light your tobacco and draw a large puff of smoke into your mouth. Do not take the smoke into your lungs. According to Cigarettes Digest, this may cause you to cough and it does not allow you to position the smoke with your tongue.
Tighten the muscles in your cheeks and form an "O" shape with your lips. Do not breathe in or out. Keep the smoke in your mouth as you stretch your cheeks and open your mouth just slightly. This is the key step to forming a smoke ring, and it may take you multiple attempts to get the right mouth positioning.
Gently push out small amounts of smoke by exhaling shallow breaths from your throat in short bursts. Use this quick and light exhaling technique while contracting your mouth in its "O" shape. A steady stream of smoke rings should emerge from your mouth with each puff.
Practice these steps repeatedly until you are able to form rings consistently. It can be difficult at first, but it's easy to get the hang of this trick if you put in a little focused effort.
