Halloween Horror Games

Halloween is a holiday that people all ages enjoy. Kids might enjoy trick-or-treating and dressing up as a favorite TV character, ballerina, nurse, doctor or whatever piques their interest. The same goes for adults. Halloween is a time to get together with friends, dress up, play games and feel the fear. All sorts of games can be played on Halloween.
  1. Murder Mystery

    • Murder mystery games are most often recommended for adult and teen players but mystery games can be played by younger kids, too. This type of game is ideal for Halloween dinner parties because it's inspired by the original murder mystery game, Clue. Psycho Circus is recommended for players older than 18 and can be played by eight to 13 people. Players search for Reginald the Ringmaster, who cannot be found. As unexplainable deaths keep occurring and mysterious tarot cards are left at each scene, guests work together to solve the crime before the circus opens.
Other murder mystery games, such as Horror in the Haunted House and Death of a Vampire can be downloaded at www.host-party.com.

    Mummy Wrap

    • Mummy Wrap can be played by younger children and adults, At least four players are needed because players are divided into pairs. One player for each team is given a roll of toilet paper and must wrap his partner up like a mummy. The first player to have an empty roll wins.

    Deja Blair Witch Party

    • "The Blair Witch Project" changed the nature of horror films with its home-video feel and effects. If you are planning a Halloween party with adult friends, the Deja Blair Witch Game would be a horrific fun way to start. Ask your guests to bring video cameras to the party and make a five-minute video. The video can be scary or humorous, using ideas such as "A Bathroom With No Toilet Paper" or "My Fallout With Bloody Mary." After everyone has finished their videos, sit back, relax and have a Halloween Film Festival.
