Compliment Sandwich
This activity is called a compliment sandwich because it involves first giving a person a compliment, then telling the person something he needs to improve, then ending with another compliment.
Mock Competition Role Play
In this activity, participants get a chance to display their talents. This activity should be done by a group of four or more. You will be hosting a mock talent show in which each participant will perform by singing, dancing or showing some other skill. Each person's performance will be judged by three other participants, who will offer only constructive criticism. Also, judge positions will rotate after each performance, so that each person will have an opportunity to both perform and be a judge.
'I Like, But I'd Love' Activity
This activity is another positive compliment game. In this game, the participants will deliver constructive criticism by saying, "I like when you do a certain activity or that you have a certain quality," then following that statement with, "I would love it if you did some other activity or developed another quality as well." With this activity, each person introduces a positive statement about the other, then suggests an improvement while remaining positive.
Personal Report Card
For the final activity, the participants will be grading each other on at least three characteristics. You can choose any areas of critique: hygiene, friendliness, punctuality, thoughtfulness, work ethic or some other category. Each participant will grade at least one other participant in the three or more characteristics. The grades that each person gives can be either "A, B and C" or "Excellent, Good and Needs Improvement." If someone gives a low grade, he must explain to the recipient why the grade was so low and what the person can do to improve the grade.
