How to Create a WWE Fantasy League

For almost every major leagues like MLB, NBA and NFL, there are several Fantasy Leagues to go with them. In these leagues, participants “draft” their own team of players that will represent their team for the whole season. They fill every position in the sport that is played, and also have a few back-ups just in case. The same can be done for the WWE as well, and with a little work, you can run your own WWE Fantasy League.

Instructions

    • 1

Gather together all of the WWE information. Separate the wrestlers by their roster, like WWE Raw, ECW and WWE Smackdown (see Resources below).

    • 2

Rank the wrestlers into 3 tiers. The first tier features the top WWE wrestlers like John Cena and Triple H, the second tier features mid-card wrestlers like Ken Kennedy and Carlito, and the third tier features wrestlers like Matt Striker and Cody Rhodes.

    • 3

Sign people up for the draft. WWE programming runs year round, so you should have the fantasy league run for a certain period like October to April. This area will cover the big pay per views like Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and ending on Wrestlemania.

    • 4

Hold the draft. Participants start off by drafting 1 wrestler from the first tier for the first round, and then each round after that moves along to the next tier and starts over again until a 10-man roster fills up.

    • 5

Set up a point system for each wrestler. Limit the number of points from 1 to 5. If they wrestle a match and win, then that wrestler and his team receives 5 points; interference would be 2 points; an interview or promo is 1 point; a weapon use is 3 points; and so on.

    • 6

Make copies of the point system for every member to have and help keep track of.

    • 7

Watch WWE Raw, ECW and Smackdown to tally the points up. Videotape these shows to make sure that everything is covered during the episodes and no points are missed.

    • 8

Double all of the points for pay-per-view events. This is where all of the big matches are held, so the wrestlers should get awarded more points.

    • 9

Allow trades and drafts throughout the season. A wrestler may not be performing well or may get injured, so new ones may need to come in and get replaced.

    • 10

At the end of the season, calculate who has the most points and award them as the winner. Start a new season anytime--WWE is year round.
