How to Crush the Bosses from Nar Shadaa to the Finale in Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2

Welcome to the third installment in our series of how to crush bosses in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2! We start here with the latter part of Nar Shadaa.

Instructions

  1. HK-50's

    • 1

Bring it on! On your way out of Vogga's warehouse, T3-M4 will be accosted by 3 HK-50 droids with bad attitudes. To defeat them, all you need to do is make sure you have some decent gear--anything but the field survival pistol. Turn on an energy shield and shoot the droids. Seriously, that's all there is to it!

    Master Zez Kai El

    • 2

Do what you do best. If you are evil and decided it would be better to strike this Jedi down than to let him live, use the standard weapon attacks: Critical Strike or Flurry. Halfway through the fight, Kreia will analyze the Jedi's fighting style and help you defeat him.

    Korriban and Darth Sion

    • 3

Make it quick! Though this fight doesn't take long, it helps to make it as short as possible. Use Critical Strike or Flurry to knock him down in a hurry. When he hits a certain point, Kreia will tell you the fight is pointless. Then, you'll run.

Freedon Nadd's Tomb and the Three Sith Lords

    • 4

Use the Medical Droid. Shortly before this fight, you will have option to repair a medical droid and have it follow you. Do so! It helps!

    • 5

Use Energy Shields. The Sith Lords like to hit you with lightsabers more than anything else; so, make sure you're equipped with some powerful energy shields--Mandalorian or better. Let them soak up the damage.

    • 6

Gang up! Have all three of your party members concentrate on a single Sith Lord. This will make things go faster.

    Onderon and the Drexyl Larva

    • 7

Charge! This beast has a decent energy resistance and a good defense. It shrugs off blaster bolts and hits like a ton of bricks. The worst part: there's no way around it. The best thing to do is just charge it. Throw everything you've got at it!

    The Ravager and Darth Nihilous

    • 8

Force Resist time! Darth Nihilous uses only dark side force powers; so, grab any gear you've got with Force Resist on it!

    • 9

Lay it on! Darth Nihilous does not heal himself, so wearing him down is only a matter of time. Halfway through the fight, Visas will need to take a breather. After that, let him have it!

    • 10

Use an Energy Shield if you need to.

    • 11

Don't forget to take his mask when you're done! It adds a bonus to your Force Points. Taking it does not incur any Dark Side Points.

    Trayus Academy and Darth Sion

    • 12

Talk him down. This time, Sion is much more powerful. Essentially, he can't be defeated in battle until you've convinced him he can be killed. Use the Persuade and Wisdom lines whenever they come up.

    • 13

Run if you have to! The same tactics that worked for Vrook apply here. Put objects in between you and him to give you a chance to rest.

    • 14

Use mines! Set these if you're really desperate or just want to see Sion walk through them exploding.

    Trayus Academy and Darth Traya

    • 15

Watch out for the second round! The first round of fighting with Darth Traya is simple. She charges you with a lightsaber; then, you fight back and defeat her. Not much to it. There's one catch, though: she has access to any force powers you gave her during the course of the game. So, you shouldn't use Kreia very much--if at all--for this battle. Give Darth Traya as little as possible.

    • 16

Run run run! If you stay to fight the three surprises she spawns for you, YOU WILL DIE! You must run. It's difficult to lose them behind a pillar; even more so to shake them completely. If you can, try and get them in a straight line. Then, turn and attack them one at a time.

    • 17

If they gang up, bolt! If they surround you, you're finished. Keep running until you can face one or two at a time.

    • 18

Ditch them! If you can, go after Darth Traya. Because she controls the lightsabers, she's completely defenseless. Killing her will end the fight.
