Can you play 2 player on the Wii console for call of duty black ops?

The Wii version of Black Ops was designed for single-player and online multiplayer only. It lacks the capability for local split-screen gameplay.

You can, however, enjoy the online multiplayer mode with a friend on the same Wii console.
