Double Jump
Find an enemy monster you know can't kill you, like an Albat. Lure the monster into following you. Keep moving and then jump as soon as you hear the monster screech. The monster will attack you in the air, letting you jump a second time. This trick allows you to reach the tops of trees and tall houses you otherwise wouldn't be able to explore.
Windowed Mode
This trick requires editing the game's "neuz.ini" file, so make sure to create a backup copy beforehand. Locate the "neuz.ini" in the "\galanet\FlyFF" directory and then open the file in a text editor. Add the line "sunkist 1" anywhere in the file. Save the changes and reload "FlyFF." Now, at any point during game play, press "ALT" and "Enter" together to open up windowed mode, which allows you to play the game in one window while performing other tasks on your computer.
Welcome Message
To create your own custom welcome message, locate the "notice_ENG" file in the "\galanet\FlyFF\client" directory. Open the "notice_ENG" file in a text editor and enter whatever message you'd like. Save the changes. Your custom message will pop up on the screen each time you start the game.
Copy
You can use simple tricks to liven up chat conversations. To add color to your text, type "/s #c #" before the hexadecimal color code of your choice and then type your message. Adding "#b" before your message types it in bold, while adding "#u" underlines the text.
Extra Emoticon
Adding emoticons provides extra emotion and a comedic touch to chat conversations. Type "!0" to create an angry anime emoticon. Type "!1" to add a light bulb. Entering "!2" creates three tears above the emoticon's head. To make a "Help" emoticon, type the "!3" code. Typing "!4" creates an Agro monster emoticon. The code "!5" makes a simple exclamation point emoticon. For a dizzy smiley face, enter "!6" into your chat window. Entering "!7" displays a "Strange" emoticon. Finally, type "!8" to present a pink heart.
