A Walkthrough for Jurassic: The Hunted on the Wii

In "Jurassic: The Hunted," a first-person shooter video game for the Wii, you assume the role of Craig Dylan, part of a security team hired to retrace the steps of a missing scientist who disappeared during an expedition to the Bermuda Triangle. But when Dylan and his team get sucked through a strange energy portal, he finds himself alone on a strange island crawling with hordes of dinosaurs. Knowing how to handle some of the more difficult levels can help you guide Dylan to safety.
  1. Level 11

    • At the beginning of level 11, load up your light machine gun and head back to the base to retrieve the turret piece. This will lead into a boss fight with a spinosaurus, which has a small brain but a large heart and enormous lungs, making it vulnerable to chest shots. Use your light machine gun to pepper the monster's chest with bullets. The spinosaurus will stagger backwards before mounting another attack. Keep targeting its chest and repeat the process until you emerge victorious. Stay near an ammo box to ensure you keep your gun fully loaded throughout the fight.

    Level 12

    • When level 12 opens, you'll need to fight two utahraptors at once, testing your shooting skills. Once you eliminate the first pair, advance ahead to encounter two more utahraptors. Again, use your light machine gun, as it provides a good combination of accuracy and firepower. Because the fights take place in close quarters, don't use your rocket launcher or you may kill yourself in the process. After defeating the raptors, check behind the rock across from the crossbow to discover another turret piece.

    Level 13

    • At the start of level 13, check next to the aircraft to discover the ESD-P206 shotgun, a powerful weapon with a large magazine and bulk reloads. Use the shotgun as your weapon of choice at this level's fort battle. Stick near an ammo box and blast away at on-rushing raptors while lobbing grenades at distant raptors. Pass through the fort gates, gun down a pterodactyl that swoops in from your left and then collect a turret piece from a rock on your right. Four paths lie ahead. The path on the far left leads to an RPG. The far right path leads to a 5.56 assault rifle. The near right path leads to a dead end. Take the last remaining path, to your near left, and kill hordes of velociraptors and scorpions until reaching a Civil War camp. A second turret piece rests behind the camp's exploding barrels

    Level 14

    • To open level 14, run to your upper left to discover the final turret piece located near the barrels at the bottom of the waterfall. For your final task, you must beat another spinosaurus. This time, use your rocket launcher and stream rocket after rocket into the beast. Don't worry about rocket placement, as striking anywhere on the body causes the same damage. You may need to visit an ammo box to replenish your rocket supply during battle. Defeating the spinosaurus wins the game and lets you play Hard mode. Plus, since you collected all the turret pieces, you now have the .50-caliber turret gun.
