Grab Some Balloons
Inflate several balloons and scatter them all over the floor. Set a timer for two minutes and tell the players they have two minutes to pick up as many balloons as they can. They can hold them with their mouth, under their arms and in their clothing to try to grab as many as they can. Any balloons that pop do not count. When the timer goes off, the player who is holding the most balloons wins the game.
Balloon Relay
Divide the players into two teams and have them line up at a starting line. Mark a finish line about 15 feet from the starting line. Give the first player in each team line an inflated balloon. When you say, "Race," they must place the balloon between their legs and run or hop to the finish line. They must run or hop back to the next player in line and give the balloon to them. Each teammate must do the same thing. The first team to finish the relay race wins the game. Have extra balloons inflated and ready in case someone pops a balloon.
Balloon Buzz
Have each player write his initials on a balloon. The players can practice inflating the balloons and letting them go, but tell them not to tie the end of the balloon. Use tape to mark a standing line and have all the players line up at the standing line. When you say, "Go," they must blow their balloons up and release them. The player who has the balloon that travels farthest from the standing line wins the game.
Sheep Balloon Round Up
Inflate several white balloons for the "sheep" and scatter them all over the floor. Lay two cardboard boxes on their side, so the open end faces out. Divide the players into two teams and set a timer for two minutes. When you say, "Go," team players must get on their knees, place their hands behind their backs and try to round up their "sheep" into their team cardboard box. After two minutes, the team that has the most "sheep" in their cardboard box wins the game. Team players must work together to get the "sheep" into the boxes.
