Fashion Designer New York
"Fashion Designer New York" is a simulation game in which a player works as a young designer in the Big Apple. Each player must piece together a successful collection. Players choose three models, one to represent each of the themes for which they must create an outfit--casual, dressy and professional. Players get tips on how to do this by hitting the "Hints" button. After creating a look for each of the models, including makeup, there is a fashion show. At the show, the fashions are rated by an expert designer.
Outfit Designer
In the game "Outfit Designer," players choose from various basic tops, bottoms, hats, shoes and accessories to create an outfit. They can personalize the pieces by choosing a color and a fabric or pattern. Players then save their finished outfits and enter them in the game gallery, where the outfits can be viewed and earn votes.
Stardoll
"Stardoll" is an online virtual doll community. After signing up for an account, players can create "MeDolls" to represent them, choosing from a wide range of hairstyles, hair and eye colors and facial features. They can go "shopping" at Starplaza and socialize with friends. With a paid account, players can create and sell their designs and decorate their own suites. The site also features hundreds of celebrity dolls. After creating a celebrity doll's outfit, a player can save snapshots of it to her scrapbook.
Pretty Cover Girl
Rinmaru Games offers a dress-up game called "Pretty Cover Girl" in which players must get a model ready for a cover shoot. Along with clothing, players choose from facial features for the models and accessories such as bags and shoes. Dozens of hair styles are available and the hair colors are customizable. There are several other simple dress-up games offered on the site.
