How to Do the Paperclip Magic Trick

Magicians have been amazing audiences for centuries. 2 paperclips
Dollar bill

Instructions

  Tell the audience that you can hook two paperclips together without touching them. The amount of talking you do to build suspense for the trick is up to your personal preference.

  Fold the bill accordion-style into thirds, left side over right side. Slide one paperclip onto the bottom two layers on the far right edge. The other paperclip should be placed over the top two layers on the far left edge.

  Grasp the right side of the bill with your right hand and the left side of the bill with your left hand, and show the audience the distance separating the two paperclips.

  Give the bill a couple small tugs for showmanship, and pull the bill one last time firmly, sending the now linked paperclips into the air.
