Fortunately, you don't have to be a skilled culinary artist to play along. Some video cooking games are easy to learn and even a novice can become a virtual kitchen superstar.

- PC users can download "Stand O' Food," a game where players cook and assemble sandwiches, while making sure their supplies don't run out.
