Partner and Relationship Trivia
Ask all the bridal shower guests to prepare a question for the bride about the prospective groom or a piece of trivia about the couples relationship before the event. Encourage people to be as inventive as possible and to consider doing some research by contacting friends or relatives of the couple to elicit obscure facts that the bride is unlikely to know.
Wedding-Themed Charades
Play an adapted game of charades in which each member of the bridal shower party performs a wedding-themed mime for the bride. Guests could choose something along the lines of the film "Four Weddings and a Funeral" or a wedding-themed "chick-lit" book by authors like Emily Giffin or Whitney Lyles.
Wedding Rehearsal
If the bride has already run through the order of service for the ceremony and has a good idea of the form her reception will take, hold a quiz to test her knowledge and see how well prepared she is. Get hold of the vows she and her groom will take and see if she can recall details from the seating plan for the reception, for starters.
Truth or Dare
If you know the bride has a good sense of humor and isn't shy about talking about her personal life, have each member of the bridal shower party ask her a question about more the intimate details of her relationship with her intended and past partners. Prepare a series of "dares" for her to perform or some good-natured tricks if she declines to answer any of the group's questions. If you want to be cliched, arrange a stripper as one of these tricks.
