Glowing Treasure Hunt
Make sure your daughter̵7;s bedroom or any larger room in the house is free of clutter and hide several glow in the dark objects around the room. These treasures could be anything from regular glow sticks to glow in the dark bugs, worms, and snakes.Turn off all the lights, give your hunters each a bag, and ask them to collect as many glow in the dark items as they can find in 60 seconds. Smaller children can also be given flashlight to help them with their hunt.
Pillowcase Decorations
Purchase two white pillowcases and puffy paint or spray glue and glitter. Give each of the girls a pillowcase and ask them to personalize it. Each of the children could also write down why they are friends, and pictures of their favorite things. The girls can also write on the other̵7;s case. Do this activity early in the evening so the pillowcases can dry and be used that night.
Funny Makeover
Give the girls some makeup and hair accessories, but make sure there are no mirrors in site. Ask the girls to give each other a funny makeover. Help show younger girls how to apply makeup and assist them in giving each other a wacky new hairdo. Older children can be blindfolded when giving their makeover. When both makeovers are over, give the girls a mirror and let them see their new look. Make sure to take pictures of the event and leave the makeup on for the rest of the night.
