How to Reset a Season in Tecmo Super Bowl III

Life has no reset button. Perhaps that's why video games are so popular. If you're about to die, or if your team is losing badly, you can just hit reset and start all over again with a clean slate. In the classic video game Tecmo Super Bowl III, gamers can start the season over if their team is taking a beating in the standings -- without repercussions from angry fans and sports talk radio pundits.

  Press the B button during the opening demo and the title screen will appear.

  Push the A button to bring up the main menu.

  Scroll down the menu options one step until you reach "Season Game." Press the A button to confirm your choice.

  Scroll down the menu options one step until you reach "Schedule." Press the A button to confirm your choice.

  Scroll down the menu options three steps until you reach "Reset." Press the Y button to choose the option and reset your season schedule. You're now ready to start all over with a new team or replay your opponents with the same squad.
