Games: How Do I Unfreeze King Zora in Zelda: Ocarina of Time for N64?

In "Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time," there are a number of ancillary characters that Link must rescue in order to progress through the game. In the Ice Cavern area of Zora's Domain, you will find King Zora frozen within a block of red ice. You must unfreeze him in order to receive the Zora Tunic and continue on to the Water Temple.

Instructions

  Go past the frozen King Zora to the cavern entrance on the left side of the lake.

  Kill all the enemies in the first room, then go through the door ahead.

  Collect all the crystals in the next room to open the gate above, then go down the hall ahead.

  Defeat the enemies in the next room, then climb the ledge on the right.

  Jump to the next ice ledge and use every empty bottle you have to collect the blue flame.

  Go back to the previous room with the large block of ice resting on the floor and push the ice to block the entrance.

  Go to the door on the other side of the room and pour the blue flame on the red blocks of ice. Enter the door that appears.

  Defeat the enemies here and a treasure chest will appear. Open it to receive the iron boots, then go through the opening behind the chest to end up back with King Zora.

  Pour the blue fire on King Zora to unfreeze. He will then reward you with the Zora Tunic.
