How to Shoot Down the Airplane on the Bonus Stage of Space Harrier

In the Sega video game "Space Harrier" you must try to save dragons from extinction by destroying enemies. You can ride on the back of a dragon during bonus levels, and the first bonus level has an extra bonus plane to shoot at the end. You can only get to this plane to appear if you refrain from shooting more than three objects during the level. Once you get the plane to show up you can destroy it the same way you destroy everything else: Shoot it until it blows up.

Instructions

- 1
  Complete the first four levels to reach the fifth level, which is also a bonus level. On bonus levels you fly around on the back of a dragon and are invulnerable. Each land object you destroy will give you 50,000 points, but you need to avoid them to get the airplane to appear.

  Complete the level while shooting less than three trees and weeds. At the end of the level jump off of the dragon and a plane will fly across the screen.

  Shoot the plane until it is destroyed to get 10,000,000 points.
