How to Go Upstairs in Moonwalker

"Michael Jackson's Moonwalker" is a classic arcade game for the Sega Genesis. Players control Jackson as he fights his way through clubs and music venues, rescuing children along the way. Several levels feature staircases that lead to new areas where additional enemies and children might be hidden. These staircases can also provide alternative routes through the stages. To climb them the player simply has to walk toward them while holding the "Up" arrow on his direction pad.

Instructions

- 1
  Approach the staircase from the direction it's facing. If the staircase ascends to the left, then approach it from the right. If it ascends to the right, approach it from the left.

  Push the "Up" arrow while still approaching the staircase and Jackson will climb the staircase. He'll walk by the stairs If you do not hold the "Up" arrow.
- 3
  Continue walking in the direction in which the staircase ascends. Jackson will eventually reach the top the stairs, at which point you can let go of the "Up" arrow.
