How to Find Power in Wonder Boy in Monster World

Wonder Boy in Monster World is side scrolling adventure game developed in the 1990's. You control Shion, a boy attempting to protect his town from an onslaught of monsters and demons. Throughout the game you collect items, weapons and armor to increase your strength against the demons. One very important item to collect is power. Power comes shaped like hearts and keeps Shion alive.

Instructions

1. Chest

   • 1

     Approach a treasure chest.

   • 2

     Slash the chest with your sword.

   • 3

     Collect the heart that is released from the destroyed chest.

   • 4

     Approach the boss at the end of each level.

   • 5

     Attack the boss until he is killed.

   • 6

     Collect the hearts that are released from the destroyed boss.
