How to Get the StarBringer Sword in Breath of Fire 2

One of the many hidden special items in the Super Nintendo role-playing game Breath of Fire 2, the StarBringer sword can be found by traveling to a specific dungeon and fighting random battles repeatedly at the exact same location.

Things You'll Need

Breath of Fire 2 Game (SNES or GBA Version)

Instructions

  Play through the game until the party wakes up Grandpa Whale and can use him as a means of transportation through the seas.

  Take Grandpa Whale south down the coastline, then east and north, until you find a beach where you can disembark.

  Get off Grandpa Whale at the beach and travel by foot up to the Thieves Tomb.
- 4
  Make your way through the Thieves Tomb until you find a room with a blue square, where random monsters will fight you.
- 5
  Stand on the blue square and continue fighting the random monsters as they appear. Eventually, one of them will drop the StarBringer Sword.
