How to Get the Gameshark in Pokemon Emerald

"Pokemon Emerald" lets you collect Pocket Monsters (or Pokemon) for battling against other people in-game, as well as other players. If you need a little help in your Pokemon campaign, however, you can use the cheating engine Gameshark to add cheats such as extra health or unlimited Poke Balls. By modifying the code in the game, you can play a lot easier.

     Connect the Gameshark to the gameboy's game slot.

     Flip the switch on the Gameshark to "On."

   • 3

     Connect the "Pokemon Emerald" game to the Gameshark slot on its back, then turn on the Gameboy.

   • 4

     Press the "A" button at the prompt to have Gameshark enable all cheats for "Pokemon Emerald."
