How to Get Mew Without HM Surf on Pokemon Fire Red

"Pokemon Fire Red" is a remake of the original Pokemon game, "Pokemon Red." In the original game, it was possible to find and capture a rare Pokemon known as Mew. This has been removed from "Pokemon Fire Red," however it is still possible to acquire the Pokemon through a trade. You must first find and capture a Mew in "Pokemon Emerald." This would normally require you to cross a large body of water, which can be problematic if you don't have the HM Surf. By using the Gameshark, however, you can teleport to the island instead.
