How to Catch Jirachi & Deoxys in Pokemon Ruby Version

Legendary Pokémon Deoxys and Jirachi hail from the third generation of Pokémon games. Unlike other Pokémon, you cannot capture Deoxys and Jirachi with the Pokémon Ruby Version game cartridge alone. You could have legitimately acquired either Pokémon from a Nintendo event around the time of the game̵7;s release in 2004, but now you can only get the Pokémon with the aid of an Action Replay (both Pokémon) or the Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc (Jirachi only).

Instructions

Bonus Disc Method
- 1
  Connect the Game Boy Advance to the Nintendo GameCube with the link cable.

  Insert the Pokémon Ruby Version cartridge into the Game Boy Advance and the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc into the GameCube.

  Power on both systems. Ensure you have one free space in your Pokémon party in Pokémon Ruby Version.

  Select ̶0;Jirachi Special Gift̶1; from the bonus disc main menu and wait while the Jirachi is transferred to your Game Boy Advance.
Action Replay Method

  Connect the Action Replay for Game Boy Advance to your Game Boy Advance, and then insert the Pokémon Ruby Version cartridge into the Action Replay. Power on the console.
