How to Get Munchlax in Pokemon Fire Red

Released by Nintendo in 2004, "Pokemon Fire Red" continues the Pokemon tradition of collecting wild creatures for inclusion in the player's ever-growing Pokedex. One of the more rare specimens in "Pokemon Fire Red" is Munchlax, a small Pokemon that eats its weight in food every day with hardly any chewing. Obtaining Munchlax is a relatively simple procedure involving some Pokemon husbandry.

Instructions

    • 1

      Obtain the Lax Incense (or Lax Tag) from the Lost Cave near Chrono Island. The incense grants the player more breeding options, leading to a greater number of rare offspring.

      Obtain a male and female Snorlax.

    • 3

      Give the female Snorlax the Lax Incense and place both Snorlax Pokemon in the daycare on Six Island.

      Your Snorlax parents will breed and produce and Munchlax, who will be added to your Pokedex automatically.
