How to Get the Medicine for the Girl in the Lighthouse on Pokemon Silver

A common goal in all "Pokemon" Game Boy video games is to travel from city to city and challenge gym leaders to a battle to win a gym badge. Before defeating the Olivine Gym leader Jasmine, however, players need to provide medicine for a sick Pokemon so that she can leave its side. Afterward, the Olivine Gym reopens and you can progress on your adventure.

Things You'll Need

Pokemon with Fly ability (recommended) or Surf ability

Instructions

  Travel to Cianwood City using a Pokemon's Fly ability, which teleports you to the location you choose. If you don't have Fly, use the Surf ability to swim down routes 40 and 41, which is exclusively a water path.

  Walk southwest from the Pokemon Center in Cianwood City to the nearby house. A frightened Pokemon trainer stands behind it and will give you a Schuckle.

  Enter the house and speak with the man inside. The first time you talk to him, he gives you the Secret Potion needed to cure the Olivine Pokemon. Talking to him again gives you the option to buy other health-restoring accessories.
