How to Catch Pokemon in the Safari Zone on Pokemon LeafGreen

There is no better place for catching rare wild Pokemon in "Pokemon LeafGreen" than the Safari Zone in Fuchsia City. From the egg-shaped Chansey to the gargantuan dinosaur Kangaskhan, some Pokemon are unavailable anywhere else. If you want to catch Pokemon in the Safari Zone, you will have to follow the Safari Zone's rules, including its ban on using your own Pokemon to subdue wild creatures and its requirement that you use their Safari Balls rather than your own Poke Balls.

  Ride your bicycle southwest from Celadon City. Veer south and continue straight until you see the sign for Fuchsia City. Get off your bicycle and head northwest. You will see a large building. This is the Safari Zone entrance.

  Enter the Safari Zone and speak with clerk behind the desk. He will equip you with 50 Safari Balls -- special Safari Zone regulation Poke Balls.

  Head into the Safari Zone and walk around until you encounter a wild Pokemon.

  Throw bait to the Pokemon to make him come closer.

  Throw a Safari Ball to catch the Pokemon.
