A team of trainers who wield powerful Flying Type Pokemon isn't the only thing that stands between you and Fortree City Gym Leader Winona in "Pokemon Sapphire." A vast network of invisible walls makes navigating the interior of Fortree City Gym almost impossible. The only way to get around the invisible walls and make your way to Winona, whose team of powerful monsters includes Swellow, Pelipper, Skarmory and Altaria, and earn the Feather Badge, is to get the Devon Scope, which reveals the invisible walls.

Travel to Fortree City.

Walk east past all the buildings until you reach a bridge.

Talk to the man standing on the bridge. He turns out to be your friend Steven. He gives you the Devon Scope, a device that detects and reveals invisible objects.

Return to Fortree City and enter the Pokemon Gym.

Use the Devon Scope to reveal the location of the invisible walls, allowing you to bypass them and go on to defeat the Gym Leader.
