How to Get Past the Bike Bridge at the Safari Zone in Pokemon Ruby

The Safari Zone in "Pokemon Ruby" gives you the chance to find a variety of rare Pokemon in one location. The Safari Zone features four areas, two of which require a bike to access because a narrow bridge blocks the entrance to the northeastern section of the Safari Zone. You cannot cross the bridge on foot, but you can get to the other side with the Acro Bike. If you have the Mach Bike, go to Rydel's Bike Shop to return it for the bike you need.

Instructions

  Go to Mauville City by travelling south from the Desert Ruins or east from Verdanturf.

  Enter the Bike Shop next to the Pokemon Center and talk to Rydel. Rydel asks you if you want to swap your bike for the Acro Bike; say "Yes."

  Walk west from Lilycove to reach the Safari Zone. Pay $500 to go inside, at which point you are in the southeastern section.

  Walk north to see a staircase and a white bridge. Go upstairs. At the edge of the bridge, get on the Acro Bike.

  Ride the Acro Bike across the bridge. Press the directional pad in the direction you want to jump when you reach a gap in the bridge and tap "B" at the same time to jump the gap. Keep following the bridge until you enter the northeastern section of the Safari Zone.
