How to Get Roselia in Emerald Without Gameshark

"Pokemon Emerald" is the third version of the "Ruby" and "Sapphire" series, comprising the Game Boy Advance (GBA) remake of the original Pokemon series, "Pokemon Red," "Blue" and "Yellow." Roselia is one of the Plant-type Pokemon, introduced in "Sapphire" and "Ruby." Often, in Pokemon games of the same generation, some games contain exclusive Pokemon as a way of distinguishing them from the other games in the generation and creating value.

Instructions

  Head to Route 117 in central Hoenn, between Verdanturf Town and Mauville City in "Pokemon Ruby" or "Sapphire." In the grasslands on this route, capture Roselia, then go to a Pokemon Center in either city to speak to the Link Agent.

  Attach the GBA Link Cable to another Game Boy Advance with "Emerald" loaded. On the "Sapphire" version, add Roselia to trade in the trade. Up to six Pokemon can be traded.

  Start "Emerald" on the second GBA and go to a Pokemon Center in any town. Speak to the Link Agent there to receive the trade request from the Sapphire. Any particular Pokemon is necessary to trade in exchange for receiving the Roselia.
