How to Make the Dark Flare Knight Deck in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX for the GBA

"Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" picks up where the previous story about a card gaming-guru and his friends left off. Duelist Academies appear throughout the fictional world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, and students attend classes on deckbuilding, overcoming opponents and strategies for the game itself. In "Yu-Gi-Oh! GX" for the Game Boy Advance, players take on the role of Jaden as they attempt to build decks to overcome opponents in the Duelist Academies. The Dark Flare Knight deck combines the spellcasting prowess of the Dark Magician with the warrior Flame Swordsman card to overcome opponents while defending the card's controller from harm.

Instructions

      Select "New Deck" from the available options on the main menu. Each deck must consist of at least 40 virtual cards chosen from the player's collection in the game.

      Choose three of the Polymerization and Fusion Sage cards. Polymerization allows the fusion of characters to create fusion monsters. Dark Flare Knight and Flame Swordsman may only enter the battlefield if summoned through the use of this spell. Fusion Sage allows you to search your deck for a Polymerization card at any time.

      Select three of the Dark Flare Knight, Flame Swordsman, Dark Magician, Flame Manipulator and Masaki, the Legendary Swordsman cards to start the deck. Flame Manipulator and Masaki combine to allow use of the Flame Swordsman card. When combined with Flame Swordsman, Dark Magician becomes the Dark Flare Knight. All of these cards must appear in the deck to summon the Dark Flare Knight.

      Add three copies of cards designed to help you fusion summon monsters. Elemental Hero Woodsman allows you to return used Polymerization cards back to your hand. Fusion Recovery lets you regain the Polymerization card and one of the monster cards used in the fusion spell. The Wroughtweiler monster recovers both Elemental Hero Woodsman and a Polymerization card when it dies in battle, and the King of the Swamp monster card can stand in for any fusion monster that you do not have in play.

      Select three copies of cards that increase the attack of the Dark Flare Knight. Divine Sword -- Phoenix Blade grants the Dark Flare Knight an additional 300 attack power and allows it to return to your hand if defeated. Fusion Sword Murasame increases attack by 800, and opponents cannot destroy this sword with spells.
