How to Get Ho-oh in Pokemon Silver

Ho-oh is a legendary Pokemon found in "Pokemon Gold." Ho-oh is both a Flying- and Fire-type Pokemon. In "Pokemon Silver" you battle Lugia, the Psychic- and Flying-type Pokemon, instead of Ho-oh. To obtain Ho-oh in "Pokemon Silver," you will need to use a GameShark game modifier to input a code that will allow you to catch Ho-oh in the wild. You can use this code to catch as many Ho-ohs as you wish.

  Plug the "Pokemon Silver" cartridge into a GameShark.

  Connect the GameShark to a Game Boy by inserting the GameShark into the Game Boy's cartridge slot.

  Enter the code "01FAED00" at the Game Shark code screen and press the "Start" button.

  Select your "Pokemon Silver" game file to start the game.

  Walk around in the grass until you encounter a Ho-oh. Use a Water- or Electric-type Pokemon to weaken it, then use a Pokeball to capture it.
