How to Get Through Sky Pillar in Pokemon Sapphire

In "Pokemon Sapphire" for the Game Boy Advance, you can explore the Hoenn region to battle, capture and train more than 100 Pokemon characters. Head east from Pacifidlog Town to reach Sky Pillar, a mysterious labryinth containing several floors and obstacles. Explore this area to find useful items and rare Pokemon, including the legendary Rayquaza.

Instructions

    • 1

Climb the stairs on the first floor to the second floor after battling several wild Pokemon. If you prefer to avoid battles against some of these weaker characters, you can use Repel to keep them away. Get to this first set of stairs by first going left, then up.

    • 2

Ride your bicycle over the crack in the floor and around obstacles, or you will fall through. Keep moving until you reach the stairs on the other side of the second floor. You must go down, left and then back up to reach the stairs. Go up the stairs to the third level.

    • 3

Head toward the stairs on the right after going down; the stairs toward the middle are blocked. Climb to the fourth floor.

    • 4

Hop on your bike again to get past the crack on the fourth floor, which you will see when you enter this level. Drop through the floor at approximately the location where the stairs were blocked on the third floor to access the staircase below. Walk up these stairs back to the fourth floor.

    • 5

Take the path left, which leads to another set of stairs, these leading to the fifth floor.

    • 6

Head to the next set of stairs to reach the sixth floor by going down and right. Once you reach the sixth floor, which is the roof, you will encounter Rayquaza.

    • 7

Defeat Rayquaza by using an Electric-type Pokemon to weaken him. Then use Poke Balls to try to capture Rayquaza. Once you beat this Pokemon, you have completed Sky Pillar.
