How to Go Into the Pal Park in Pokemon SoulSilver

Pal Park is a feature of "Pokemon SoulSilver" and "HeartGold" that originally debuted in "Pokemon Diamond," "Pearl" and "Platinum." Pal Park allows you to transfer up to six Pokemon from one of your Game Boy Advance Pokemon titles, such as "Pokemon Ruby" or "Sapphire," to your Nintendo DS Pokemon game. While Pal Park in "Diamond," "Pearl" and "Platinum" allowed you to transfer only six Pokemon total from your Game Boy Advance cartridge, the "SoulSilver" and "HeartGold" Pal Park allows you to transfer an unlimited number of Pokemon, though you may do a maximum of six at a time.

Instructions

    • 1

Travel to Fuchsia City, located south of Celadon City along the Bike Path. Find the Pal Park building located in the northwest of the city.

    • 2

Enter the building and speak with the attendant. Select what area you would like to capture your old Game Boy Advance Pokemon in. Areas available include Field, Forest, Mountain, Pond and Ocean.

    • 3

Throw a PokeBall at a Pokemon when you encounter it to capture it. This will migrate your old Pokemon to your DS system with its stats intact. The Pokemon will also hold any items you had given it.
