How to Get 5 Stars on Trainer Cards in Pokemon Sapphire

There are several side-quests in "Pokemon: Sapphire Version" for players to complete after they have defeated the main game, one of which involves obtaining all five trainer stars. Trainer stars are used to determine the level of skill and expertise a trainer has acquired throughout her journey in Hoenn. Your trainer card changes color with each star earned: green, bronze, copper, silver and gold. While you are automatically awarded your first star at the start of the game, you will need to overcome considerable challenges in order to obtain the last four.

     Battle and defeat the Elite Four and the Champion.

     Fill your Pokedex by catching all 200 Pokemon in the Sapphire generation, with the exceptions of Jirachi and Deoxys.

     Travel to the Battle Tower and win 100 successive battles.

     Compete in and win all five types of Pokemon contests at Master Rank.
