How to Get HM08 in Diamond

"Pokemon Diamond" for the Nintendo DS takes place in a new area called Sinnoh, where you choose a trainer and set out to find and collect various Pokemon creatures with a goal of being the Pokemon League Champion. HM08 is an important item to your quest, as it teaches your Pokemon the Rock Climb ability that will allow them to scale cliffs. You obtain this late in the game after beating a series of enemies along Route 217.

Instructions

- 1
  Go north on Route 217. Defeat Ace Trainer Dalton.

  Travel northwest until you encounter Skier Madison. Defeat him.

  Enter the trees northwest of the area to find a nugget with your dowsing machine. Go southeast to a lone tree where Ninja Boy Antonio awaits you.

  Defeat Ninja Boy Antonio. Search for a healing item with your dowsing machine slightly northeast of Antonio. Go north to find Skier Shawn.

  Defeat Shawn and continue north. Search for a max revive with your dowsing machine just before you reach your final opponent, Skier Bjorn.

  Go west into the trees and then north to a house. Search the Pokeball north of the house to find HM08.
