How to Beat Kyogre in Pokemon Sapphire

The Pokemon named Kyogre is a legendary Pokemon and is hard to capture. There is only one spot in "Pokemon Sapphire" that you can find this elusive Pokemon. Kyogre is a water Pokemon and is sought after by evil organizations within the Pokemon world in order to drench the world completely in water. Kyogre is easy to find but hard to capture due to its special attack moves and high stats.

Instructions

  Travel to the north end of Sootopolis City and find the entrance to the Cave of Origin. Talk with the elderly man you find there and he will grant you entrance to the cave.

  Search for the Kyogre Pokemon. You will find him in the fourth floor basement level of the cave. Save the game before beginning the battle with Kyogre.

  Weaken Kyogre by using debilitating moves such as "sleep" or "paralysis" until its health bar fades. If you have a Pokemon that knows the "False Swipe" move, use him because it will leave a single health point and make capturing Kyogre easier.

  Send out your Pokemon to capture Kyogre. You have a better chance to defeating and capturing him if you use water-type Pokemon because they are able to withstand his attacks.

  Use Pokemon Balls such as Net Balls, Ultra Balls and Time Balls to capture Kyogre. If you have a Master Ball, it will capture Kyogre instantly.
