How to Get Through Team Rocket's Hide Out in Crystal

Pokémon Crystal, released in 2001, is a Game Boy Color role-playing game in the popular Pokémon series. During your travels to catch Pokémon and defeat gym leaders, you arrive in Mahogany Town, where Lance shows you the secret door to access Rocket's Hideout. When you reach the end of the hideout, you battle Pryce, leader of the Mahogany Gym. Getting through the hideout takes time and skills. Along the way, you encounter multiple battles and stumble across objects, including TM 46, HM 06, a Hyper Potion, Ice Heal, Full Heal and an X special.

Instructions

  Begin walking on the first floor on the hideout. Two rockets pop out of the Persian Statue as you pass by to battle, informing you in the process that to turn off the cameras you need to disable the computer.

  Continue walking until you approach a man in front of a computer. Battle him and examine the computer to shut off all cameras in the hideout. Continue walking south until you reach the stairs.

  Walk up the stairs and allow Lance to heal your Pokémon before battling two more Team Rocket members. Continue up the stairs to the third floor.

  Speak to Lance again. He informs you that in order to pass this floor you need to get two passwords from Team Rocket.

  Walk around the third floor until you approach a Rocket girl in front of a computer. Battle her and win, then talk to her when you are done to get one of the passwords. Continue to find the other member, located next to two Poke balls. Battle him and win to get the second password. Walk up the next set of stairs to reach the locked doors.

  Unlock the door and fight the Rocket Executive. After you win, speak to Murkrow to gain the final password, which is "Hail Giovanni."

  Walk back down to the second floor and unlock the locked door you saw earlier, where two Rocket Executives approach you to battle. Lance arrives again and offers to battle one while you battle the other. When the battle is complete, Lance informs you that you need to stop the radio signals.

  Battle the electrodes, which you can either catch or knock out, to stop the radio signals. Lance gives you HM 06 - Whirlpool after you defeat the electrodes. Continue on to face Pryce, the Mahogany Gym leader. Once you beat him, he gives you $3,100, the Glacier Badge and TM 16 - Icy Wind.
