How to Get the National Dex in Leaf Green

"Pokemon: Leaf Green" was released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. When you begin "Leaf Green" you are given a Pokedex, a device which allows you to record 150 Pokemon. However, more than 150 Pokemon exist in "Leaf Green." In order to record the statistics of the other 236 Pokemon, found once the game has been completed, you will need the National Dex. You must meet two requirements to receive the National Dex.

      Defeat the Elite Four. These are four trainers who function as the last bosses of the game. You can gain access to them by defeating the eight gym leaders and receiving their gym badges. This step will come naturally as you progress through the game.

      Catch 60 Pokemon. These Pokemon can be caught in the wild or received via trades.

      Travel to Pallet Town and enter Professor Oak's laboratory. The laboratory can be identified by the sign in front of it.

      Speak to Professor Oak. If you have complete the two prerequisites, he will give you the National Dex.
