Cheats and Hints for Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker

Cheat: Unlimited Seed of Skill

• This cheat will allow you to collect as much Seed of Skill as you wish. Go to the Palaish Isle during the night. You will see a pool of water next to the ladder near the huge staircase. Here you will find a Seed of Skill. Leave the island and return, and you will find the Seed of Skill has reappeared. You can do this as many times as you like, but this cheat works only while it is night in the game.

Hint: Get Liquid Metal Slime, Grandpa Slime and Empyrea

• One way to get extra-special monsters in the game is by collecting specific amounts of other monsters. To be awarded the Liquid Metal Slime monster, you have to obtain 100 monsters; for the Grandpa Slime monster you have to collect 200 monsters; and for the Empyrea monster you must obtain all the monsters in the game.

Hint: Get Metal King Slime, Metal Kaiser Slime and Leopold

• Another way that you can obtain special monsters is by achieving specific numbers of skills. To be granted the Metal King Slime monster you have to obtain 100 skills, for the Metal Kaiser Slime monster you must obtain 150 skills, and to be awarded the Leopold monster you have to obtain all the skills in the game.

Hint: Get Robbin' Hood and Trode

• Players can obtain two more special monsters by completing specific tasks. To be awarded the Robbin' Hood monster you must complete both the monster and skill libraries. To get the Trode monster you have to complete both the monster and skill libraries and then speak to the skill library NPC.
