Madden Card Cheat Codes
Entering Madden Card codes will unlock cards that you can use to cheat during game play. At the main menu screen, select "My Madden," then "Madden Cards," then "Madden Codes" to get to the code entry screen. For unlimited field goal range, input "3J3S9Y." To make your opponent require 15 yards for a first down, input "2W4P9T." To increase broken tackles by 25 percent, input "3H3U7F." To increase diving range by 25 percent, input "3H8M5U." To cause your opponent to fumble every time he tries to juke, input "2Z2F4H."
Play Selection Cheat
When you're on defense, you can tell whether the play will be a run or pass when the offense sets up in a two-back formation. Bring up the coach cam by pressing "L2," then look at the halfback. If he is labeled "R1," it will be a running play. If he is labeled "L1," the play will be a pass. This trick works for any two-back formation, excluding Weak-I.
Inexpensive All-Star Quarterback
You can manipulate the salary cap by signing an all-star quarterback for relatively little money. Create a punter or kicker and max out all his stats, including the passing categories. You'll be able to sign him cheaply because of his special teams designation. When the season begins, set the player as a quarterback on your depth chart.
Easy Passing Touchdowns
Set the best wide receiver on your team as a tight end. When you're on offense, audible him into a straight fly route. The defense will likely only put a linebacker on him, enabling your wide receiver to easily break away into the open for a long score.
Easy Sacks
When you're playing as a defensive lineman, back up a few feet before the ball is snapped. Immediately run forward when the play begins and use the "hit stick" to make contact with an offensive lineman. The lineman will fall, and you'll still be on the run with a clear path to the quarterback.
First Draft Pick in Franchise Mode
By turning off the trade deadlines option in Franchise mode, you can get the first pick in every round of the next draft. In the week before the wild-card playoff game, trade all your picks to the team with the worst record. You will get all of their picks in the next year's draft.
