How to Unlock DJ Boost & Snot Rod in Pixar Cars for Gamecube
The story mode of "Cars" on Gamecube uses Lightning McQueen, the main character from the movie, as the default character for the player. However, you can apply cheat codes to replay the missions and time trials as other characters like DJ, Boost and Snot Rod. The other characters are just skins, meaning the character's appearance changes, but the stats and abilities stay the same.

Select the "Cheats" option from the main menu. The game will ask for input.

Type in MUSIC8R to unlock DJ.

Type in CHEATER to unlock Boost.

Type in YAYCARS to unlock Snot Rod and all the other character skins.
