Cheats for Tropico

"Tropico" is a strategy-based video game for the PC. In this game, you'll assume the role of a newly-installed dictator on a Caribbean island. The object of the game is to build farms, buildings, pubs and churches and keep the island's economy afloat. These cheat codes can help you run your island.

Editor Mode
- Hold down "Ctrl" and type in "editor." Then, press "F5" to enable the editor tools. Once the tools are enabled, type "U" to add units, people, boats and planes. Typing "P" allows the use of a paint tool for the terrain. Type "V" for a vegetation tool, so you can plant or cut down trees in vast quantities. Type "Z" to use the bulldozer tool (this won't work on ancient ruins or a colonial fort).
Cheat List
- Hold down "Ctrl" and type "Ratedifficulty" to reduce or increase the game's difficulty. To change the economic difficulty, hold "Ctrl" and type "Economicdifficulty." To change the political difficulty, hold "Ctrl" and type "Politicaldifficulty." To kill a selected unit, hold "Ctrl" and type "Muerte." For rapid-build mode, hold "Ctrl" and type "Rapido." To remove all the people from the map, hold "Ctrl" and type "Removepeople."
Money
- Hold "Ctrl" and type "Pesos" during your game to boost your money by $20,000.
